Why paper job cards cost money
The three-day invoice lag
The technician finishes at 6 pm. The book reaches the office two or three days later, sometimes at the end of the week. Data entry adds another day. By the time the invoice goes out, a week has passed and the customer's urgency has faded. Cash flow in a service business is mostly a function of how fast job cards turn into invoices.
Missing parts, missing revenue
